Video Tutorial of ConfirmationSancta Missa has has produced a new video tutorial/documentary on the Rite of Confirmation according to the 1962 Pontificale Romanum. The new video outlines the rubrics and ceremonies for the Sacrament of Confirmation celebrated in the Extraordinary Form.

Video: Solemn Pontifical High Mass

Sancta Missa has made available a video of Solemn Pontifical High Mass celebrated by His Excellency, the Most Rev. Joseph N. Perry at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament in  Hanceville, Alabama.  This Mass, televised on EWTN on July 1st, 2009, is now available for viewing with the accompanying latin text.

A rubrical guide on the Rites of Holy Week by Rev. Frederick R. McManus has been added to the Rubrical Guides section of Liturgical Books and Resources.  This marvelous guide to the restored order of Holy Week in 1956 is in PDF Format. For the parish wanting to offer the ceremonies of Holy Week in the Extraordinary Form, this will be a necessary guide to help the clergy and servers accurately rehearse the ceremonies, the sacristan to attend the needs of the sanctuary, sacristy and church and the musicians to  prepare the proper sacred music. Online Roman Ritual

The entire Rituale Romanum (1964) has been added to the Sancta Missa web site. It comes complete with a concise table of contents. Now the Rituale Romanum can be viewed online!  The 1964 Rituale Romanum is nearly identical to the 1962 Edition.
